LOST for words
LOST for thoughts
LOST in a limbo of spatial existence

i was abandoned on the concretes of a highway
without an address and felt very much a stray

i called out to you in despair
and all you did was have a tantrum affair

in the night i sat there alone
hoping you'd come back to bring me back home
a tear drop tripped off my eye and fell to my skirt, which was torn and stained just like the shirt
no one to wipe it; no one to know it
i lay there in pain all covered in dirt

every pore in me is screaming out for your attention and love
every nerve yearns for your comfort and nothing above
how can you say i dun want you when you wont even look at me
i cant tell you how much you mean cos you get all touchy

why oh why, and what should i do
i lay there in silence and in love for you

the works of fire crackers reflected on my eye,
the pain within, bursts out to the sky
every breath, every leaf, every drop that passes is sending you messages like doves in masses

i lay there in hope that one might reach
in time to see me before I'm bleached
I've used up all that i had and i have no more...the last bits of my remains I'll gladly offer you if that might make you show a glimpse of your love to me, but I'd only wish that i lived at least a moment to witness it before I'm gone.
